There are several types of marlin. Black marlin or black marlin Techspeak Makaira indica. Then there is the blue marlin or blue marlin (Makaira nigircan). Sailfish sailfish or called Istiophorus platypterus. White marlin or white marlin (Tetrapturus albidus). And swordfish or swordfish with the Latin name galduys Xiphias Linnaeus. There's more stripped marlin (Tetrapturus Audax) and Spearfish (Tetrapturus pfiuegeri / Tetrapturus angustirostris / Tetrapturus belone).
Sail Fish or Fish Screen (Istiophorus platypterus)
Or Black Marlin Black Marlin (Makaira indica)
This fish is found in the Indian Ocean and became the prey in the hobby of sport fishing activities in Pelabuhan Ratu. In addition there is also contained in the Pacific Ocean. Being on the water with a temperature of 21-30 degrees Celsius and rarely found in cold waters.
Black marlin or black marlin (Makaira indica)
These fish can be quickly identified because it is the only marlin with a stiff dorsal fins. These fins can not be folded into the body. Back line rarely evident in adult fish. His back straight dark blue that changes color to white on the back line. If you're jumping or eating it will show a faint blue line on the side. The food consisted of cuttlefish, mackerel, bonito, flying fish.
Black marlin has the power, size and toughness to challenge anglers. This fish is known for speed swimming and diving in the motion followed. The biggest fish ever caught weighing up to 700 kilograms, about five times the weight of marlin generally, in Cabo Blanco, Peru on August 4, 1953.
Blue Marlin or Blue Marlin (Makaira nigircan)
The biggest blue marlin ever caught weighed 637 pounds in Vitoria, Brazil February 29, 1992. These fish live in warm waters. These fish do not like the black marlin are also found in the Atlantic Ocean is on the tropical regions of the ocean. This fish is not available in area waters Pelabuhan Ratu.
blue marlin (Makaira nigircan)
Feature of this fish is never stiff pectoral fins, even when dead can still be folded into his body. Dorsal fin high and sharp, high over the fish's body width. Large tail fins and sharp-tipped.Fish species include aggressive fighter who often leapt into the air, as if not relentless. They swim fast and strong.
White Marlin White Marlin or (Tetrapturus albidus)
Usually a maximum weight of adult male fish only 90 pounds. While the female as the fish species can grow into a giant. The biggest fish ever caught only weighs about 82.3 pounds which is also obtained in Vitoria, Brazil on December 8, 1979.
Fish are spread across the Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea and also in the Mediterranean in Europe. This fish can migrate to tropical waters. And often located close to the beach.
The most striking feature is the dorsal fin, pectoral and tail is round rather than sharp. Pectoral fins can be bent up to a meeting with his body. The line side is very clear. The color of this fish is closer to green than other marlin.
swordfish or swordfish (Xiphias galduys Linnaeus)
The maximum weight of these fish reach 682 kilograms, and the heaviest was arrested in Iquique, Chile weighing 537 pounds. Cucutnya longest, straight and wide. Living at a temperature of 13 to 22 degrees Celsius. This fish is found in almost all waters in the earth's surface.
The simplest characteristic is sharp tentacle-like sword. This sword is used to hold or kill, attacking their prey. Eat like a cuttlefish other marlin, dolphin, and mackerel. His back to dark brown, bronze, purple metallic, grayish blue or black at all. Could be a dark side, and the bottom is white.
This fish is easily frightened by the arrival of the ship and acted erratic though rarely do they attack the ship. Growled often used to cut fishing line.
Marlin population is now much reduced. This amount depends on the fisherman. If he can marlin first time, he wanted to take pictures with their catch. For this of course will not be released because they have brought to the port. Actually, most make the population dropped dramatically, according to Dadi, is the commercial fishing nets or caught. "Fish is good marlin. He is a blend of tuna and mackerel. His famous steak once. "

PARIS - Scientists Europe and Singapore on Wednesday announced the discovery of species of fish believed to be the world's smallest fish. Fish by scientific name paedocypris progenetica is found in the peatlands of Sumatra. Body of adult fish is only for mosquitoes.
Paedocypris progenetica the same family as carp. The inventor of this fish to publish his findings in a scientific journal Proceedings of the British edition.
Fish with transparent bodies that live in the peatlands that high acid levels in Sumatra. Peatlands, which are often referred to as black water swamp''that''extraordinarily high levels of acid. Peat water pH levels are only up to PH3, approximately seasam sour apples.
Scientists have studied these animals with a special stereoscopic microscope to accurately measure the length of the fish.
The smallest mature fish caught is Paedocypris progenetica female. The length from tip of mouth to tip of tail only 7.9 mm. So, in addition to being the smallest fish, this species deserves the title as the world's smallest vertebrate. Record for the smallest recorded fish is a fish during Trimmatom nanus dwarf, whose length is 8 mm.
The team of scientists also discovered a kind of fish, namely P. micromegethes, in Sarawak, Malaysia.
The fish was discovered by Maurice Kottelat and Tan Heok Hui, researchers at the Raffles Museum of Biodiversity Research at the National University of Singapore.
Fins of fish suspected to be the result of an evolutionary process as an effort to adapt to the unique environment that peatlands.

8 Types Most Disgusting Fish in the World!
1. Goliath Tigerfish:
The two most common species and Probably the most recognizable in Southern Africa are the Goliath Tiger (Hydrocynus goliath) the which is found in the Congo River system being the largest of the family. The second largest and the southern-most species is the Tigerfish (Hydrocynus vittatus) commonly found in the Zambezi River and in the two Biggest lakes along the Zambezi, Lake Kariba in Zambia being and Zimbabwe and Cabora Bassa in Mozambique.
2. Frilled Shark:
The frilled shark, Chlamydoselachus anguineus, is a Prehistoric shark species, of the family in the order Hexanchiformes Chlamydoselachidae. The Southern African frilled shark is a proposed new species from the Southern African range. These two species are very different from the other hexanchiform sharks, and it has recently been proposed the two frilled sharks That Should Be Their own given order: Chlamydoselachiformes. Additional Extinct types are known from fossil teeth; thought to be Extinct Itself, it was only discovered in Japanese waters in the 19th century. [2] On January 21, 2007, a specimen was found alive off the coast of Japan near the Awashima Marine Park in Shizuoka, southwest of Tokyo. The shark was captured but, being in poor health, Died shortly afterwards.
3. Blob Fish or Blob Sculpin:
The blobfish (Psychrolutes marcidus) That is a fish inhabits the deep waters off the coasts of Australia and Tasmania. Due to the inaccessibility of its habitat, it is rarely seen by Humans.
Blobfish are found at depths where the pressure is Several dozens of times higher than at sea level, the which would Likely the make gas bladders inefficient. To Remain buoyant, the flesh of the blobfish is primarily a gelatinous mass with a density slightly less than water; this allows the fish to float above the sea floor without expending energy on swimming. The relative lack of muscle is not a disadvantage as it primarily swallows edible matter That floats by in front of it. Often it is caught by bottom trawling with nets.
Their slightly due to Grotesque appearance, blobfish have Become the source of an Internet meme, with jokes made about unpleasant Their appearance and the typically glum faces Their expression form.
4. Wolf Fish - Anarhichadidae:
The wolffishes are a family, Anarhichadidae, of perciform fishes. They are native to cold waters of the northern Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, where They Live on the continental shelf and slope, to depths of about 600 m. They are bottom-feeders, eating hard-shelled invertebrates Such as clams, echinoderms and crustaceans, the which They crush with strong canine and molar teeth. The Longest species, Anarrhichthys ocellatus, grows to 240 cm in length.
5. Rattails or Grenadiers
Grenadiers or rattails (less commonly whiptails) are Generally large, brown to black gadiform marine fish of the family Macrouridae. Found at great depths from the Arctic to Antarctic, members of this family are Among the most abundant of the deep-sea fishes. Grenadiers are seen in the movie Titanic, where the fish are glimpsed During ROV reconnaissance of the wreck. The Macrouridae are a large and diverse family with some 34 genera and 383 species Recognized (well over half of the which are contained in just three genera, Caelorinchus, Coryphaenoides and Nezumia).
6. Lampreys
The sea lamprey (Petromyzon Marinus) is a parasitic lamprey (a kind of jawless fish) found on the Atlantic coasts of Europe and North America, in the western Mediterranean Sea, and in the Great Lakes. It is brown or gray on its back and white or gray on the Underside and can grow to be up to 90 cm (35.5 in) long. Sea lampreys prey on a wide variety of fish. The lamprey uses its suction-cup like mouth to attach Itself to the skin of a fish and rasps away tissue with its sharp probing tongue and teeth. Secretions in the lamprey's mouth Prevent the victim's blood from clotting. Victims typically die from blood loss or infection.
7. Basking Shark
The basking shark, Cetorhinus maximus, is the second largest fish, after the whale shark. It is a cosmopolitan species - it is found in all the world's temperate Oceans. It is a slow-moving and Generally harmless filter feeder.Like other large sharks, basking sharks Could some day be at risk of extinction due to a combination of low resilience and overfishing if good conservation practices are not Followed.
8. Goblin Shark
The goblin shark, Mitsukurina owstoni, is a deep-sea shark, the sole living species in the family Mitsukurinidae. The most distinctive characteristic of the goblin shark is the unorthodox shape of its head. It has a long, Trowel-shaped, beak-like rostrum or snout, much longer than other sharks' snouts. Some other distinguishing characteristics of the shark are the color of its body, the which is Mostly pink, and its long, protrusible jaws. When the jaws are retracted, the shark resembles a pink gray nurse shark, Carcharias taurus, with an unusually long nose

Fish species and their understanding of the fish in the region AUSTRALIA
Type of fish
In Australia, Barramundi used for freshwater reservoir stocks for recreational fishing. White meat is soft, lightweight feel, and relatively boneless, making it a popular (and sometimes expensive) that can be created in many ways.
The Flathead is a popular table fish and sport found in all parts of Australia. Dusky flathead are found in the estuary and the gulf coast, from Cairns in Queensland to the Gippsland Lakes in Victoria.
The South Australian cobbler Gymnapistes marmoratus (Cuvier 1829), often just called "cobbler" in Australia, is a brown-colored fish that live in estuaries in southern Australia, both in the eastern (New South Wales) and western (Western Australia - near Perth) coast. Dorsal fin spines are venomous.
The cobbler is macrocephalus Cnidoglanis eeltail catfish found along the coast of Australia, supporting the protected shallow waters near the river mouth. It is also known as "Deteira", "Estuary Catfish", and "Catfish South Australia".
"Flake" is a term used in Australia to show the flesh of every several small species of sharks, especially the Gummy Shark.
The Queensland lungfish native to the Burnett and Mary River system of southeast Queensland, but has been introduced into other nearby rivers, including the Brisbane River.[Edit] Fresh Water FishMain article: Australian freshwater fish
Australian continent, which is larger than the continental United States, has relatively few freshwater fish, only some 280 species or more. Most of these species are endemic to Australia. Australia is unique in that Percicthyidae (Temperate perches) family and other families who alleged in reality lie in it (eg Gadopsidae, Nannopercidae) have risen to prominence and dominate many freshwater systems, in contrast to the Northern Hemisphere where freshwater fish fauna which is dominated by the family (Carp) Cyprinidae. (Not a single species of Australian native Cyprinid Unfortunately due to the illegal introduction of Carp (Cyprinus carpio) Cyprinidae family now comes in the form of destructive in Australia ..) The Galaxiidae also rose to prominence unusual in Australia, with most of the world Galaxias species found in Australia and neighboring New Zealand's land mass.
Freshwater systems, the most important in Australia is the Murray-Darling Basin which drains about 13% of the continent and is home to some of the most significant species of freshwater fish in Australia including the iconic Murray Cod, the largest in Australia.
Australian freshwater fish have not fared well since European settlement in Australia in 1788. The majority of Australia's freshwater fish are poorly understood and under threat due to human activities such as clearing of riparian vegetation and sedimentation associated with agricultural practices, the removal of barriers, overfishing, river regulation through dams and weirs, fish and introduced diseases. Two native fish populations that may have been a separate species or subspecies, Richmond River Cod and the Brisbane River Cod, has been lost, and several other species listed as endangered or threatened species.[Edit] Murray CodMain article: Murray CodA Murray Cod
Murray Cod inhabit various habitats, from cool clear streams with rocky substrates in upland areas for large slow flowing, meandering rivers in the broad alluvial lowland reaches of the Murray-Darling. Murray Cod in the previous decades (especially in the 19's and early 20th century) was caught in large numbers by both recreational anglers and professional fishermen.[Edit] Australia BassMain article: Australian bass
Bass Australia, Macquaria novemaculeata, is a species in the family Percichthyidae occurring in coastal waters along the east coast of Australia. Australian Bass fishing with small-to medium body, quite in the elongated and laterally compressed. Australia Bass sharp looking because they are valued as sportsfish, a fast and powerful for their size.

Fishing is quite popular on Lake Burley Griffin is the most common species illegally introduced into Carp. The lake has been filled every year with a variety of native and introduced species and more than 1.26 million fish have been released since 1964. Annual monitoring conducted to determine fish populations. 2001 survey only returned Carp and Redfin perch, both introduced species, native perch and Gold. However, a number of less common species also inhabit the lake, including the Murray Cod native, Western Silver Carp Gudgeon and perch, and introduced Goldfish, Gambusia, Rainbow trout and Brown trout.
There are many changes in fish populations in lakes and stocking practices since it was first filled. Stockings of introduced trout have been abandoned as the lake has been proven to be a warm, eutrophic habitats that are unsuitable for the survival of introduced trout species.
Stocking routine since the early 1980s has established a reasonable population of Golden perch and Murray cod are very difficult to understand; native fish that are native to Molonglo River before the lake was built. Today, Golden perch and Murray cod is a fish stocked in the lake. Murray cod are remarkable as freshwater fish for extreme sizes they achieve and this is particularly the case for Lake Burley Griffin-; specimen to about 38 kg have been recorded and no doubt there are some that even larger Murray cod in the lake.
Through natural breeding introduced Redfin perch has become a prominent species of fish in the lake. The Redfin cycle numbers for the regular onslaught of the epidemic haematopoietic necrosis (EHN) virus, an endemic virus that is lethal to the mysterious teenager Redfin. After the EHN virus attack, which left a huge reach Redfin size during the next few years due to reduced food competition. During this period of reduced competition could grow up to 50cm Redfin, an unusually large for this species. This large Redfin offers excellent fishing.
Carp are best pursued in the lake with a small hook baited with canned corn kernels and heavy lead little or nothing. Redfin is best pursued with a variety of small jigs in the form of soft plastic worms and fish. Place the gold and Murray Cod are best pursued with live bait or in yabby-diving lures and spinnerbaits. Golden Place is not too difficult to catch but Murray Cod is, frustratingly difficult to understand. Baits are best used in medium depth areas that have weedbeds, rocks and drop-off as a fish-pull structure,
The Golden perch and Murray cod in lake-rich diet developed high levels of fat and muddy flavor in their meat, which makes them bad eating. Anglers are encouraged to release fish and maintain native species introduced to eat, especially fish Redfin the table very well.[Edit] Victoria
A Morwong is a fish found in Port Phillip, Melbourne, Australia. Morwong addition, there are more fish species, more abundant can be found in Port Phillip Bay. Of these, the flathead is arguably the most abundant, making the most of the catch of recreational boat anglers. The most valuable fish, Snapper, is another species that is found here and made an appearance characteristic of seasonal at bay. Rounding, mullet, swordfish, salmon Australia and a number of other less abundant fish found in Port Phillip Bay.[Edit] Fishing Party
Fishing Party is a minor federal political party in Australia, who had won seats in the federal election. It has branches in several states. It is headquartered in Singleton NSW.
